From early appearances on London’s pirate radio in the late 1990’s to playing at UK festival stages and promoting London parties, Luke has been involved in underground music for well over 20 years.

 Luke was born and raised in London, the heart of the UK’s rave scene, and grew up alongside many of dance music’s elite At an early age, Matrix (Metro Recordings) introduced Luke to local pirate radio and he spent several years working as an MC. In the early 2000’s Luke regularly performed as a host for Chase & Status and recorded dubplates for top artists including Shy FX, Solardo and DJ EZ.

 Following a visit to New York in the mid 1990’s, Luke fell in love with US House & Garage and began collecting records from classic labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Nervous and Nice ‘n’ Ripe. Using his vast collection as a backbone, Luke founded Closer, a successful vinyl-oriented party in London’s East End.

 Luke has performed across the UK, often playing vinyl-only at parties including Ministry of Sound, Percolate, Sankeys, Notting Hill Carnival and Boomtown Fair and opening for artists such as Roy Davis Jr., DJ T, Flux Pavillion, Bradley Zero and Krystal Klear.

 Since moving to Asia, Luke is making his mark in Thailand, holding down several DJ residencies, working with Groovy Tunes, UMT Radio, Re:Fix Festival, Get Loose! and hosting weekly beach parties at The Cove With a primary focus on House music and a diverse record collection spanning many decades, Luke loves to join the dots between different genres and eras of dance. He often showcases a variety of styles from classic Funk & Hip Hop to contemporary House & Techno, always weaving soulful elements throughout At his several regular DJ residencies in Thailand you can catch Luke playing chilled sunsets, groovy warm ups, banging peaktime sets and everything in between.
